명사절과 부사절

 

 안녕하세요. 동글연구자입니다. 오늘은 명사절과 부사절에 대해서 알아보고자 합니다. 명사절과 부사절은 고등학교 때부터 끊임없이 보고 배우는 것입니다. 하지만 읽는 것과 쓰는 것은 또 다르더군요. 보면 알아도 쓸 때 사용하는게 익숙치 않으니 안쓰게 됩니다. 그래서 저도 다시 복습을 할겸 글을 쓰려고 합니다.

1. 명사절

 

what ~하는 것, 무엇이/무엇을 ~하는지

 

 예문:
(1) What I mentioned before is the most important thing in this session.
(2) We sometimes don't know what we are done.

 

that ~하는 것

whether, if ~인지 아닌지

 

예문:
(1) I'm not sure whether the weight would affect resolution.

 

who 누가/누구를 ~하는지

where 어디에서 ~하는지

 

(1) Do you know where the umbrella is sold?
(2) Where you live is the place I live.

 

 

 

why 왜 ~하는지

 

(1) Is why I'm nice to only you is important?
(2) I sometimes wonder why I'm alive.

 

how 어떻게 ~하는지

 

예문:
(1) Can you teach me how I install this program?
(2) This lecture gives you how we easily approach the mathametical methods.

 

2. 부사절

 

because, since, as, now that ~이므로, ~하기 때문에 (원인)

 

예문:
(1) As he can't control himself, I'm afraid to give him money.
(2) We should wear masks as the Covid-19 virus spreads in the air.

 

when, as, while ~할 때, ~하는 동안에 (시간)

although, though 비록 ~일지라도 (양보)

while, whereas ~인 반면에 (대조)

 

예문:
(1) A equally weights measurements whereas B discriminates measurement according to the estimated mean value. 

 

 

 

if, in case, granting that 만일 ~라면, ~인 경우에 (조건)

so that, in order that ~하기 위해서, ~할 수 있도록 (목적)

 

예문:
(1) We wanted to Busan in order that my father can safely visit to the hospital.

 

so 형용사/부사 that, such 명사 that 매우~해서 ~하다 (결과)

as long as, as far as ~하는 한 (제한)
